Shenyang High-Speed Train Depot
On November 30, 2011, coinciding with the rapid advancement of the Harbin-Dalian High-Speed Railway project, the Shenyang EMU Depot was officially established, marking the beginning of a new phase of fast-paced development in EMU maintenance and operations for the Shenyang Railway Bureau. Located at No. 18 Guangming Street, Tiexi District, Shenyang City, the Shenyang EMU Depot is one of seven such depots across the entire railway network—and the sole depot within the Shenyang Railway Bureau dedicated to the operation, maintenance, and repair of high-speed trainsets. It primarily handles the operational and maintenance tasks for EMU trains serving the Harbin-Dalian High-Speed Railway, as well as the Changchun-Jilin and Qinhuangdao-Shenyang passenger-dedicated lines. Centered in Shenyang, the depot leverages its strategic locations in Dalian and Changchun while extending its reach to cities like Harbin, Jilin, Beijing, and Tianjin.
