Jiangsu Changshu Power Plant
Jiangsu Changshu Power Generation Co., Ltd. is located on the banks of the Yangtze River, 24 kilometers northeast of the ancient Jiangnan city of Changshu. Formerly known as Changshu Power Plant, it was a key construction project during the nation's "Eighth Five-Year Plan" period, featuring four domestically produced, upgraded 300,000-kilowatt generating units. Construction began in September 1990 and was fully completed and put into operation by November 1994. In 1995, the plant successfully passed the national-level acceptance inspection, solidifying its status as a nationally designated super-large enterprise.
