Everyone has dreams, because they are the direction that drives us forward—after all, isn’t life simply a journey of striving to become the person we aspire to be? I’ve often wondered what kind of person I should become, but ideals remain just ideals. If we don’t take any concrete steps or muster the confidence to turn those dreams into reality, they’ll ultimately fade away into mere fantasies.
The power of dreams is immeasurable—it’s not just a goal, but also a source of hope and a profound driving force. Life can indeed feel dark unless it’s fueled by inspiration; yet all inspiration remains blind without knowledge, and all knowledge becomes futile unless accompanied by a dream. For it is precisely because we hold onto our dreams that we are able to keep moving forward, one step at a time.
When we're striving for our dreams, we may feel lost and unsure of the path ahead. In those moments, we should remind ourselves to trust in our own abilities—stop hesitating, let go of confusion, and clearly see the road ahead. Believe that you have what it takes to become the person you aspire to be. After all, those who hold onto their dreams and keep pushing forward will always shine with a brilliance that inspires admiration.
Of course, there will always be a few exceptions—after all, not every hardworking person can achieve their dreams. Perhaps the final outcome won’t be as beautiful as they’d imagined, but as long as they’ve given their best effort and avoided any regrets, that’s enough. After all, we’ve already done everything within our power.
In fact, an ideal is also the only true gamble—like standing on the edge of an abyss. Once you take that leap, you must fight with all your might: either soar high on the wings of a great bird, riding the rising winds; or sink silently to the bottom, lost in silence forever. The former embodies hope, purpose, and unwavering determination—a relentless drive to keep pushing forward. The latter, however, lacks sufficient confidence, leaving its bearer adrift in confusion and uncertainty. Yet, every single person needs an ideal—whether it’s grand and ambitious or humble and seemingly insignificant. As long as you have an ideal, you hold onto the promise of hope.
Ideal is the stone that sparks the fire of hope; ideal is the fire that rekindles a fading light; ideal is the light that guides your steps through the night; and ideal is the path that leads you toward dawn. On the journey to realizing your dreams, carry your ideal with you— for it holds the strength to sustain and empower you every step of the way!
