Traffic Control
The automated barrier system is excellent, enabling remote control of traffic—a particularly critical issue when road usage is high. For instance, if you need to limit the number of slow-moving cars and trucks passing through access points to ensure they don’t disrupt the flow of faster-moving vehicles on major roads, a barrier that allows only a few people to operate it simultaneously could prove invaluable.
Similarly, if multiple lanes need to be merged into one—perhaps to allow vehicles to enter a parking lot—obstacle traffic control systems provide comparable assistance. Essentially, they can be programmed to operate in sync, ensuring that only one vehicle passes through at a time, which helps prevent collisions. This type of control system can typically be installed alongside traffic lights, tailored to meet specific requirements.
Parking Control
As mentioned above, the automatic barrier system restricts access only to authorized personnel who have security benefits. Another advantage of this approach is that the barrier effectively prevents unauthorized individuals—those who might inadvertently try to use your parking facility—from gaining access. Of course, many public parking lots require drivers to "pay and display," but this practice is often abused by people who are "just looking to cause trouble."
With the increase in automated barrier systems, drivers who previously used private parking lots for their own purposes can no longer do so. Moreover, authorized personnel can now locate parking spaces more easily. This eliminates the need for another option—hiring parking attendants who would regularly patrol the entire lot. Ultimately, this means instantly cutting down on significant overhead costs.
