Yesterday, the month-long comprehensive renovation project on Xuefu Road was completed and successfully accepted, resulting in significant improvements to the area's environmental order. Next year, Xuefu Road will see the planned construction of 29 parking lots, providing a total of 580 parking spaces—construction for which will begin as soon as spring arrives.

Currently, near the High School Affiliated to Harbin Normal University, construction on a new pedestrian overpass is nearing completion, while another overpass near the Second Hospital of Medical University has already been fully put into service. Meanwhile, significant improvements have transformed the overall environmental order along the entire length of Xuefu Road. The road’s cleanup efforts have enhanced the cityscape and appearance of the surrounding neighborhoods. City authorities have jointly focused on areas such as the vicinity of Kade Plaza, the Clothing Market, and various underground entrance zones, meticulously removing unauthorized张贴 and graffiti to ensure that no street vendors gather or illegally occupy public spaces. Additionally, the traffic management department has established 10 traffic posts along Xuefu Road—at locations like the Electric Meter Factory roundabout and Hada Market—while deploying more dynamic patrol vehicles and increasing police presence to strengthen traffic control across the entire route.

As of the completion and acceptance inspection, 68 existing commercial kiosks along Xuefu Road have been dismantled, with two new landscape-style kiosks installed and two bus dispatch kiosks currently under construction. The remaining kiosks are in the process of being replaced. Meanwhile, the Municipal Urban Investment Company, in collaboration with the traffic management department, has identified suitable parking areas within the road right-of-way, planning a total of 29 parking lots accommodating 580 parking spaces. Construction will commence next spring.
