The Shenzhen Lawyers Association of Guangdong Province recently signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Shenzhen Branch of Jiangsu Bank Co., Ltd. According to the agreement, The Shenzhen Lawyers Association will collaborate with banks to issue financial IC cards to its lawyer members. The co-branded card is the first to introduce the designated functionality for lawyers' electronic practice certificates. This move marks the official launch of Shenzhen's "One-Card" project for lawyers.

It is reported, This card will integrate the electronic lawyer practice certificate and the debit card functionality of commercial banks. Achieve multi-purpose card usage: First, based on the unified deployment of a self-service registration system for lawyers at lawyer channels across relevant public security, prosecution, and judicial departments, lawyers can now use their cards for automated registration, seamlessly passing through security checks—significantly boosting operational efficiency. Second, lawyers using their cards can independently register for training sessions and major conferences, with training information automatically recorded. Finally, the association will implement centralized management of city-wide lawyer data, including professional practice details such as integrity status and annual performance evaluations, thereby greatly enhancing the efficiency of industry self-regulation and management.

“ "One Card" The "green channel" will fully leverage information systems to enhance lawyers' case-handling efficiency, safeguard their rights and interests, and establish comprehensive integrity records for attorneys. This initiative will genuinely deliver tangible benefits to the legal community, help restore professional dignity, and elevate the standing of the legal profession—marking a significant step forward in fostering the development of a robust legal professional community.
