1 Choose the parking spot carefully—avoid positioning your vehicle on main traffic routes or in drivers' blind spots, to prevent obstructing traffic and reducing the risk of accidents.
2. After parking, turn off the engine and avoid idling, engage the handbrake, remove the key, roll up the windows, and leave only after ensuring it’s safe.
3. When parking in the lot, always park in an available space—this not only helps prevent unnecessary fines but also avoids blocking other vehicles, which would require you to move again later.
4. When parking outdoors, avoid slopes, soft ground, and low-lying areas to prevent vehicles from sliding or sinking.
5. When stopping on the highway due to unforeseen circumstances, quickly move to the shoulder or emergency lane and promptly set up warning signs.
6. Vehicles identified as being on a slope must have their wheels securely blocked with triangular wooden blocks or stones, and the steering wheel should be turned fully in the direction of safety.
7. In winter, protect your car from freezing; in summer, shield it from the sun; for temporary parking, ensure it’s secure against theft. When parking overnight with a full load, be sure to jack up the wheels.
8. For long-term parking, perform necessary preservation and maintenance, then cover the vehicle with a car cover and lift the axles off the ground.
