The application of license plate recognition technology at parking lots and residential community entrances/exits primarily serves to record the license plate number, plate color, and entry/exit times, enabling automated vehicle management that saves manpower and boosts efficiency. For instance, in smart residential communities, this technology can automatically determine whether an incoming vehicle belongs to the community, while seamlessly implementing automatic timed charging for non-resident vehicles. In some organizations, this application can also integrate with vehicle dispatch systems, allowing for the automatic and objective tracking of the unit’s own vehicles as they leave or return.
